More good news on the Timberwolves’ injury front Monday as forward Chase Budinger has been cleared by doctors to start doing agility drills.
Budinger has been out since tearing the lateral meniscus in his left knee during the sixth game of the season. He’ll be re-evaluated in two-to-three weeks — meaning he could be back on the court in late March.
On Sunday Kevin Love told reporters that he’s “doing better” and hopes to play again before the season is over.
The Wolves hit the road for three straight starting at Phoenix Tuesday night.
