Dallas Stars 6
Minnesota Wild 3
The Dallas Stars scored four unanswered goals to beat the Minnesota Wild 6-3 Monday night at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
It’s the second straight loss for the Wild.
"Upon further review, Norm Green does suck. Minnesota is given back the North Stars and the four goals in tonight's game."

1. Dallas onslaught sparks Stars to the win
After Minnesota built a 2-0 lead in the first period, the Stars answered with four unanswered goals straddling the second and third periods to steal the victory.
Jordie Benn, Vernon Fiddler and Tyler Seguin scored back-to-back-to-back in the second period to give the Stars a 3-2 lead.
Antoine Roussel added an insurance goal in the third.
2. Goaltender shuffle pays off for Stars
Kari Lehtonen started in net for the Stars, but it didn’t go well. He was beaten twice in four shots. The Stars quickly switched to Antti Niemi, who came on and was outstanding the rest of the way.
Niemi stopped 30 of the 31 shots he faced in net after he replaced Lehtonen.
3. Spurgeon celebrates his new deal
Jared Spurgeon signed a new four year, $20.75 million contract extension with the Wild on Monday, then celebrated the goal in style Monday night.
His goal put Minnesota on the scoreboard.
