Justin Morneau ripped a three-run double to lead the Twins over the Pirates, 5-4 in an exhibition game on Monday.
Morneau tells the Pioneer Press that he feels “more prepared” because he’s entering the season fully healthy for the first time since 2010. He says it’s nice “just to go out there and play and not worry” about any injuries.
Trevor Plouffe is expected to make his spring debut on Tuesday. As for his strained calf — he thinks he injured it because he was dehydrated.
