The Minnesota Boys Basketball Coaches’ Association announced the 36 semifinalists for the 2024 MBCA McDonald Award, which is given to the most outstanding senior player of the year, on Tuesday.
The McDonald Award, named after legendary longtime Chisholm coach Bob McDonald, is modeled after the Wooden Award, and criteria for the award include strength of character on and off the court, contributing to team effort, excelling both offensively and defensively and performance over the course of the whole season.
