Adrian Peterson’s string of good fortune continues.
On the field, he’s the NFL’s leading rusher, an amazing accomplishment following reconstructive knee surgery just last December.
Off the field, Peterson told ESPN reporter Josina Anderson today that a grand jury found no probable cause for the resisting arrest charge against him at an area nightclub last July.
Peterson’s attorney, Rusty Hardin, called the ruling “a vindication” of Peterson’s innocence.
As NBC.com’s Mike Florio explains, Peterson talked to a grand jury for about 25 minutes about the charges — and the case was dropped five minutes after he left the room.
