Adrian Peterson returned to Vikings practice Friday and he is probable for Sunday night’s game against the New York Giants.
Peterson has been held out most of the week with ankle and shoulder injuries. He sprained his ankle last Sunday against the Bears, but no one from the team expressed concern that he would miss this week’s game.

Peterson leads the NFL in rushing by nine yards over Doug Martin – heading into the final two weeks of the regular season.
But the Vikings may be getting more than Peterson back. All of their injured starters have been declared probable for Sunday night.

That means safety Harrison Smith, linebacker Anthony Barr and defensive tackle Linval Joseph are also are expected to return Sunday night.
According to Pro Football Talk, there could be playoff implications on the line for both teams, or it could kickoff with the Vikings squarely in the post season and the Giants not being able to get there.
Regardless, Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said he won’t rest any starters, so all of them should be good to go Sunday night.
