Game 4 of the best-of-seven series between the Wild and Jets is Tuesday at 7 p.m. in St. Paul, and the Jets could be down a trio of key players.
Tyler Myers, a big defenseman who scored goals in Games 1 and 3, is “somewhere between doubtful and definitely out,” according to the Winnipeg Sun.
Myers, a force at 6’8” tall, appeared to collide with Wild forward Marcus Foligno when Foligno tried to block a shot late in the third period of Sunday’s Game 3.
Myers went down and stayed down in front of the Winnipeg bench before being helped to the locker room.
Foligno said he had no intent to injure his former Buffalo teammate, and when asked about the play on Monday, Wild coach Bruce Boudreau scoffed at the notion of Foligno playing dirty.
“He (Foligno) fell,” said Boudreau, via Wild.com. “Anybody that thinks anything different, that there was something to it, is trying to create something that’s not there. He went to block a shot and he fell, and that was it.”

Myers is part of Winnipeg’s third defensive pairing but is also on their second power-play unit and penalty kill team, so his absence would be big.
The Jets have been without Toby Enstrom and Dmitry Kulikov, so Myers’ absence would mean Winnipeg could be without three of their top six defensemen.
Puck drop at Xcel Energy Center is scheduled for just after 7 p.m. and will be televised on Fox Sports North and CNBC.
