Fellow wide receiver Stephen Burton has put together a very strong camp. Burton told the Pioneer Press why he’s playing so much better.
“The speed is helping a lot, especially with being out there and not having to think about the game,” he said. “This is my third year. I’m starting to see things a lot faster.
The Star Tribune reports that rookies Shariff Floyd (knee) and Xavier Rhodes (hamstring), and veteran linebacker Desmond Bishop (groin) all practiced.
Defensive coordinator Alan Williams is aware that his players don’t really like the rotation on the defensive line, but Williams says it’s best for the team.
”They know that at some point they’re going to come out of the ball game,” Williams said, according to Yahoo! Sports. ”That’s going to be the best thing for the team, not necessarily the best thing for their number of reps, but we want to make sure that we keep them fresh.”
