A wild throw on a bunt from Kurt Suzuki allowed Eduardo Escobar to score the go-ahead run in the eighth inning, as the Twins came from behind to beat the Chicago White Sox 8-6 at Target Field Tuesday night.
The Twins added to their lead later in the inning on a bases loaded single by Joe Mauer and a sacrifice fly by Trevor Plouffe.
Kevin Jepsen (3-6) picked up the win for Minnesota by pitching a scoreless 8th inning. Glen Perkins worked the 9th for his 32nd save.
Miguel Sano was 3-for-5 in the game with a home run, while Eduardo Escobar had three hits, including a pair of doubles.
With his three-hit night, Twins rookie Miguel Sano is now hitting .297/.405/.611 with 14 homers and 41 RBIs in 50 games.

Minnesota took an early 4-0 lead when they got to Chicago starter Chris Sale, tallying four runs on the lefty during a big second inning. The Twins put together five hits in the inning, highlighted by the 34th double of the season from Brian Dozier.
But starter Tyler Duffey wasn’t able to hold it. Duffey had retired the first 14 hitters of the game, but ran into trouble with two out in the fifth. He gave up a hit, then followed that with three straight walks. Before the Twins were out of the inning, Duffey was in the dugout and the lead was cut to one.
With Duffey gone, the White Sox added two more in the sixth to take a 5-4 lead.
But Sano and the Twins answered, as the Twins rookie hit one of the biggest home runs of the year up to this point tying the game at 5.

Minnesota then broke the tie in the eighth to pick up the victory.
Tommy Milone (6-4) is on the mound for the Twins on Wednesday night against Carlos Rodon (6-5) for Chicago.
