Jason Zucker isn’t going anywhere. The Las Vegas native could have become a free agent next week, but instead he’s sticking with the Minnesota Wild on a new two-year contract.
Michael Russo reports that Zucker’s deal is worth $4 million total.
Now the winger just needs to start scoring more goals. He tallied 21 goals in 51 games two seasons ago only to fall flat last season with 13 goals in 71 games.
“For me, I just need to make sure that I have a good offseason like I know I can, and then come in for training camp ready, and better than I ever have,” Zucker told Wild.com. “I’m expecting nothing less than that.”
