While no one was saying anything officially, there are a few hints Wednesday afternoon that Sam Bradford may make his first start as the Vikings quarterback.
To the media, the Vikings appear to be continuing the wait and see game. Mike Zimmer offered very little during his Wednesday press conference.
“You’ll have to wait until Sunday,” Zimmer said. When a reporter asked if Zimmer knew, he just shrugged his shoulders and said, “No comment.”
While both Bradford and Shaun Hill were made available to the media Wednesday, neither was saying much.
“You’ll have to ask coach Zimmer,” Bradford told reporters. Hill’s response was very similar: “You’re asking the wrong guy.”
But there were a couple of hints that it may be Bradford. He acknowledged that he was feeling more comfortable in the offense and added he felt they could put together a full plan if he got the start.
Then Wednesday afternoon a source gave the Pioneer Press’ Charley Walters something interesting.
Pssst: QB Sam Bradford took all the first-team snaps at Vikings practice today.

That information from Walters jives with what Packers coach Mike McCarthy was hearing.
Mike McCarthy on Vikings QB situation: We're preparing for both, but my understanding is it might be Sam Bradford

But when Zimmer was asked if he thought McCarthy had a source, he responded, “Hopefully not in this building.”
