The Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx are hosting a garage sale today through Thursday on the skyway level of Target Center in downtown Minneapolis.
The two pro teams are getting rid of years of overstock items in what they’re calling a “celebration” for their official move to their new training facility at Mayo Clinic Square.
The Star Tribune reports the sale will feature a lot of cheap items with nostalgic value. The sale will include tables with items priced $1 and tables with items in the $3 range. Prices will range higher than that, but Brad Rutter, the Timberwolves’ vice president of communications, says shoppers “won’t go broke.”

Here’s some information about what kind of items will be up for grabs, per the NBA.
“Team memorabilia from every era of Timberwolves & Lynx basketball will be available. Fans will have the chance to acquire some rare collectibles and autographed items from current and past Wolves and Lynx players. Items range from yearbooks from the Timberwolves inaugural season to team signed balls from the 2014-15 Wolves roster, framed jerseys, game-worn autographed shoes and more.”
All sales will benefit the Wolves and Lynx community foundations.
The sale will be open today until 9 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Fans half-jogged into the sale area when the doors opened for the first time.
