Another double-double from Kevin Love led the Timberwolves over the Wizards, 120-98 at Target Center Friday night.
Love filled the bucket with 25 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. He was one of seven Wolves (14-15) to score in double-figures.
Nikola Pekovic continued his hot play with 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Ricky Rubio played his best all-around game in weeks with 11 points, nine assists and eight rebounds.
Corey Brewer (10), Kevin Martin (12), J.J. Barea (17) and Alexey Shved (13) also scored in double-figures.
The biggest difference in the 22-point blowout was Minnesota’s success at the free-throw line. They finished 31-38 at the charity stripe while Washington managed to get to the line only 17 times.
John Wall led the Wizards (12-14) with 26 points.
