He’s already one of the best passing point guards in the NBA, but the Timberwolves want Ricky Rubio to develop his game.
Rubio can become a more complete point guard if he becomes a better shooter and scorer.
“That’s his next step in the evolution of the point guard position,” T-Wolves president of basketball operations Flip Saunders told KFAN. “Being a bigger scoring threat, being able to knock down shots, which will make the game much more easier for him.”
Rubio averaged 10.7 points per game last season while shooting a below-average 36 percent from the field, and just 29.3 percent on three-point attempts.
