The Minnesota Timberwolves announced they have released Jeff Adrien. Adrien, who played 16 games with the Wolves, was fairly productive in limited minutes.
He averaged 3.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 12.8 minutes in those 16 games.
1500 ESPN notes that if those numbers were projected over 36 minutes, Adrian would have averaged 10 points and 12.9 rebounds per game during his brief stint with the Wolves.
Sounds like Jeff Adrien is being released, per source. Damn. He deserves to stay. But has that non-guaranteed deal. #twolves

Adrien didn’t have a guaranteed contract and had he been on the roster on Saturday, the deal would have become fully guaranteed because of an NBA deadline.
The move leaves the Wolves with an open spot on the roster, which according to Canis Hoopus, will go to Miroslav Raduljica. Raduljica spent last season with the Milwaukee Bucks, where he played sparingly.
He might be best known for claiming that his beard was better than Houston’s James Harden.
During his limited minutes he showed some ability to convert around the hoop and at the free throw line, he will give the Wolves another big body to fill the center position with Nikola Pekovic out because of an injury.
Minnesota is expected to replace Jeff Adrien with Miroslav Raduljica. who left China recently. #NBA
