The Timberwolves are urging fans to do as much as they can to help Kevin Love become a starter for the Western Conference in this year’s NBA All-Star Game.
The attempt comes in association with a campaign the Wolves are calling “Show Kevin Some Love.” The campaign will continue until All-Star voting ends Jan. 20.
They released an excellent video promoting why Love should be starting over Los Angeles Clippers power forward Blake Griffin, who led Love by 22,000 votes in the latest update announced by the NBA.

Love is second in the NBA in scoring (26.4) and rebounding (13.3) this season. Only 11 players in league history have finished in the top three of both scoring and rebounding in a single season.
Kevin Love on #NBABallot campaign: "It means a lot—the fans have done a great job. I thank them for that."

The Wolves also released a list of Love’s top 10 games this season. The No. 1 game on the list was Love’s 45-point, 19-rebound effort against the Clippers on Dec. 22. He’s also putting up some historically impressive numbers.
He’s on pace to become the first player since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1975-76 to finish a season averaging 25+ points, 13+ rebounds and four-plus assists per game. He’s also piled up eight games this season with at least 25 points, 15 rebounds and five assists. The rest of the NBA has combined for just four games of that stature.
