The Timberwolves snapped out of its three game losing streak with a 97-93 win in Golden State last night. Kevin Love led the way with 36 points and 17 rebounds. The Wolves’ road trip continues Wednesday night in San Antonio.
Minnesota is now 2-3 to start its seven game road trip. After playing the Spurs tomorrow night, the Wolves travel to Oklahoma City for a game against Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the Thunder.
As impressive as Love’s stat line was, perhaps the even more impressive stat is that Luke Ridnour and J.J. Barea each finished with 10 assists. Ridnour added 10 points for a double-double.
The Wolves then come home to host the Nuggets on Sunday, but then it’s back on the airplane for four of the next five games.
