A scuffle between Gorgui Dieng and Devin Booker overshadowed a monster game by Karl-Anthony Towns as he led the Wolves to a 118-91 victory over the Suns in Phoenix on Tuesday night.
With 5:32 left in the third quarter and the Wolves up by 20 points, Dieng grabbed a loose ball and brushed Booker’s head when he swung his elbows. Booker took issue with it pushed Dieng in the face.
Both players were ejected from the game. Here’s the entire incident as it unfolded.
Immediately after they were ejected, Booker and Dieng stared each other down with Dieng then apparently telling Booker to meet him in the tunnel. Booker accepted the invitation and had to be restrained by security while he tried to run back to meet Dieng.

Dieng spoke with reporters after the game and said he wasn’t running to fight Booker, but was rather going to exchange jerseys with him. Classic answer, but totally false.
