Target Center should be filled to capacity Wednesday night when Kevin Garnett makes his re-debut with the Timberwolves against the Washington Wizards.
On Monday, the Timberwolves released an additional 1,000 tickets for the game. Fans can purchase the tickets at Timberwolves.com/wolvestix. You can also find them for as low as $19.99 on Stub Hub.
Because of the huge crowd, fans are encouraged to arrive to the game early. Doors for the general public open at 6 p.m. The game tips off shortly after 7 p.m. A sellout crowd at Target Center is 19,356 fans.
The Wolves traded Thaddeus Young to the Brooklyn Nets last Thursday for Garnett, who will be reintroduced to Minnesota during a press conference at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Garnett hasn’t worn No. 21 since being trade from Minnesota to the Boston Celtics in 2007. He wore No. 5 with the Celtics and has worn No. 2 with the Nets the past two years.
KG’s last game as a Wolf was April 9, 2007 against the Toronto Raptors. He finished with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists, according to Basketball-Reference.
