Kevin Love had his worst shooting night of the season, but the Timberwolves held off the Nuggets for a 108-105 win Wednesday night at Target Center. Love had 14 rebounds, but finished with just 8 points on 3-17 shooting.
Nikola Pekovic led Minnesota with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Also scoring in double-figures were Andrei Kirilenko (18), J.J. Barea (17), Luke Ridnour (15) and Dante Cunningham (12).
Perhaps the biggest difference between Minnesota and Denver came at the free-throw line. The Wolves shot 29-35 at the line while the Nuggets hit just 14 of 24.
