With the NBA Draft quickly the approaching, the Timberwolves are showing more interest in UCLA guard Shabazz Muhammad.
The 6-6, 220-pound shooting guard worked out for the Wolves at Lifetime Fitness in Minneapolis Sunday morning.
The Wolves haven’t had a quality shooting guard for a long time, and Muhammad could be a quick fix for that problem.
“He’s a natural scorer,” Flip Saunders tells FOX Sports North. “He’s gonna find a way. He’s gonna score. You can put him in the gym with whoever’s playing, he’s gonna find a way to get 14, 15 points somehow. That’s just what he does. It might not be the prettiest way he does it, but he’s gonna find a way. And … that’s a given talent.”
If Minnesota selects Muhammad with the No. 9 pick in the June 27 draft, it surely won’t please the people at Canis Hoopus.
