Timberwolves guard Brandon Roy will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery, according to a report in the Oregonian newspaper.
Writer Jason Quick, who covered Roy during his playing time with the Portland Trail Blazers, says its unknown how long he’ll be sidelined.
Roy, who hasn’t played since the Nov. 9 game against Indiana, will have the surgery sometime Monday, according to the Associated Press.
According to Star Tribune beat writer Jerry Zgoda, the Wolves have gone “very silent” on his knees the last few days.
