It got closer than that as Denver virtually erased all of Minnesota’s 18 point first half lead. The Nuggets, who trailed virtually all night claimed a 100-99 lead with 28 seconds remaining.
The game went into overtime and the Wolves came up short.
Welp. That was a bad loss outscored by 21 in the final 18:40.

2. Wiggins, Martin lead the Wolves
Andrew Wiggins and Kevin Martin each put up 22 points on the night to lead the Wolves, but neither shot real well – especially in the second half.
Martin finished 8-of-20, and was just 2-of-7 from the three-point line. Wiggins was 8-of-17 and missed a couple of big free throws in the clutch.

Not that its any surprise when the Wolves meet up with the Nuggets, but the Jameer Nelson put together a nice night for Denver. Nelson finished with 20 points, he was 4-of-7 from behind the three-point line.
As a team the Nuggets knocked down 11 three’s.
