Gorgui Dieng got himself a hefty pay raise with a four-year, $64 million extension with the Timberwolves.
According to The Vertical, the Wolves and Dieng agreed to a $64 million contract extension Monday night.

Through two games this year Dieng is averaging 13 points, 13.5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.5 blocks. The fourth-year center has emerged as one of the key members of a talented core alongside Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins and Zach LaVine.
Minnesota acquired Dieng and Shabazz Muhammad in a draft day deal with Utah in 2013. Both are eligible for a rookie extension until midnight ET on Tuesday.
Others in talks on four-year extensions include Minnesota's Shabazz Muhammad and Gorgui Dieng and Charlotte's Cody Zeller.

For his career, Dieng is averaging 8.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.
He was a standout at the University of Louisville – where he helped lead the Cardinals to the 2013 NCAA National Championship before turning pro.
