After leading the Twins with 35 home runs and 110 runs batted in, Josh Willingham was named one of three American League outfielders to win a Silver Slugger Award, given to top offensive players.
The other outfielders to win the award were Josh Hamilton of the Rangers and Mike Trout of the Angels.
The 33-year old Willingham is still under contract for two more years with the Twins, but will he be around to play them out? If general manager hopes to trade for pitching, he might have to give up Willingham.
