The key to Rodney Williams’ big game against Nebraska Tuesday night was better spacing and motion on the offensive end of the floor.
Williams, who scored a season-high 23 points, looked as comfortable as he’s ever looked in a Gopher uniform thanks to Tubby Smith’s plan to simplify the offense by spreading the floor and setting more screens.
“That was a big key for us in tonight’s game, just to get moving on offense more, to get more space and that worked for us,” Williams told the Star Tribune.
