Ex-Gophers Rodney Williams and Trevor Mbakwe made their NBA debuts Saturday in an Orlando Summer League game with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Williams was the star among the two, according to the Pioneer Press. He scored 12 points with two rebounds, two assists and three blocks in 26 minutes — and he threw down two exciting dunks.
Mbakwe finished with five points and four rebounds in 12 minutes.
Both were in the starting the lineup, but according to the game summary, Williams looked more comfortable as the starting small forward.
