The NFL announced 27 semifinalists eligible for the 2013 Pro Football Hall of Fame class, and three former Minnesota Vikings are on the list. Wide receiver Cris Carter, running back Roger Craig and kicker Morton Anderson. Carter spent the majority of his career in Minnesota while Craig and Anderson combined for only three years with the Vikings.
Carter’s 1,101 career receptions is good for second most in NFL history. His 130 career touchdowns rank eighth in league history, and fourth highest among receivers.
The list will be narrowed to 15 finalists in early January. Carter was a finalist last year, but did not get in.
