The Minnesota Wild will be more shorthanded for Tuesday night’s game against Winnipeg.
The Wild, who are already missing their most prolific goal scorer Zach Parise, will also be without one of their top defenders as Marco Scandella will miss the game for personal reasons.

Minnesota leaves for the start of a four-game road trip on Wednesday and Scandella’s status for the next few games is up in the air too.
The team will bring Scandella’s equipment to Raleigh, the first stop on their road trip, but they aren’t sure when he’ll be back.
The Star Tribune’s Michael Russo notes Scandella also had to leave the team during training camp.
Nate Prosser will return to the Wild’s lineup and will play alongside Christian Folin on Minnesota’s third defensive pairing.
“I’m anxious to see [Prosser] back in there,” said Wild coach Mike Yeo after practice Monday.

During the talk with reporters Monday, Yeo added that Parise is likely to miss at least a couple of weeks from the knee injury he suffered against Nashville, meaning Parise won’t return to the lineup at any point during the road trip.
The Wild and Jets face off at 7 p.m. Tuesday night at the Xcel Energy Center.
