If you haven’t been watching the Wild lately than, you’ve been missing out on the Jason Zucker show.
Zucker, has scored the last six goals (including a hat trick) for the Wild over their last three games.
That’s right: The last time a Wild player not named Zucker scored was a week ago. Eric Staal got a shorthanded goal against Boston on Nov. 6.
Every Wild goal since then – totaling 184 minutes – has come from Zucker, and the team’s gone 2-1-0 in its past three contests.
If Zucker scores the first goal for Minnesota on Tuesday against Philadelphia, he’ll tie an NHL record with seven consecutive team goals.
That record was first set by Cy Denneny of the Ottawa Senators in 1921. Brian Noonan of the Chicago Blackhawks matched the feat in ’91, according to the NHL.

No player has scored eight consecutive team goals, so if Zucker scores the first two goals for Minnesota Tuesday, he’ll be all alone in the record books.
Zucker’s goals have also came in clutch situations, with five of them coming in the third period.
The NHL awarded Zucker the First Star of the Week on Monday.
In 16 games this season, Zucker has 14 points – 9 goals and 5 assists.
Last season he set career highs across the board with 22 goals and 25 assists, and it appears he’s on track for an even better year in 2017-18.
If he keeps this up, the team may have to change its name from the Minnesota Wild to the Minnesota Jason Zuckers.
