Minnesota Wild General Manager, Chuck Fletcher will hold a press conference on Thursday at Xcel Energy Center to conclude the Wild’s 2015-2016 season.
According to John Shipley of the Pioneer Press, these will also be Fletcher’s first public words since the Wild fired Mike Yeo in February.
Fletcher replaced Yeo with interim coach John Torchetti from the club’s AHL affiliate in Iowa. Torchetti led the Wild to their fourth straight playoff appearance but they were ousted in the first round by the Dallas Stars.
In an off season without a full-time head coach, salary cap constraints and just three draft picks in the upcoming seven-round NHL draft it will certainly be a very interesting off season in the State of Hockey.
