NHL season-opening opponents were announced today and the Wild will open on the road against the St. Louis Blues on Oct. 13. The Wild will return to St. Paul and Xcel Energy Center for the Home Opener on Oct. 15 against the Winnipeg Jets.
Meanwhile, Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher gave a brief update today on the health of Zach Parise, who missed the playoffs with a back injury.

Next up for Fletcher is the NHL Draft on Friday and Saturday. The Wild have the 15th pick in Friday’s first round.
