The Minnesota Wild announced Thursday that it will host pregame parties before Games 3 and 4 of their best-of-seven playoff series against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Games 1 and 2 will be played Friday and Sunday in Chicago, with the third and fourth games next Tuesday and Thursday at Xcel Energy Center.
“The pre-game party for Game 3 will be held from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5 prior to the Wild faceoff against the Chicago Blackhawks at 7 p.m. On Thursday, May 7, the pre-game festivities will be held from 6 – 8 p.m., ahead of the 8:30 p.m. start for Game 4.”
Meanwhile, a pep rally for the Wild will take place from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis
According to the Star Tribune, the rally will take place in the Crystal Court.
Wild mascot Nordy and former Wild star Wes Walz and the original Minnesota Mr. Hockey winner, Tom Chorske, will help get the party started. The first 500 fans will receive a “rally towel” and there will be a raffle for an autographed Zach Parise hockey sweater.
