Minnesota Wild goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen earned his second shutout of the season on Tuesday night as the Wild picked up their eighth straight victory at home in a 3-0 win over the Arizona Coyotes.
The Wild got on the scoresheet early as Ryan Hartman scored his fourth goal of the season 1:37 into the game to give Minnesota a 1-0 lead.

Handed the early lead, Kahkonen was stellar for the Wild, making 31 saves on the night and guiding Minnesota through a scoreless second period. While the Wild were kept off the board, it didn’t last long in the third.
Mats Zuccarello couldn’t convert on a beautiful feed from Kirill Kaprizov in the second, but made up for it with a snipe past Adin Hill to put Minnesota up 2-0.
