The Minnesota Wild have signed 2021 Minnesota Mr. Hockey winner Jack Peart to a three-year, entry-level contract starting in the 2024-25 season.
The defenseman, who was the Wild’s second-round pick (54th overall) in the 2021 draft, played in 38 games for St. Cloud State this season and recorded 14 points (3 goals, 11 assists).
Peart, 20, ranked third among Huskies defensemen in points during the 2023-24 season. He played in 108 games in three seasons at St. Cloud State and was named to the ALL-NCHC second team each of the past two seasons.
