The Minnesota Wild picked up a sweep of the Vegas Golden Knights, winning the second game of the series 2-1 on Saturday night.
Tomas Nosek scored his fifth goal of the season in the first period to put Minnesota in an early hole and Marc-Andre Fleury made sure they stayed there. The Vegas goalie made 25 saves on the night to keep the Golden Knights’ advantage heading into the third period.
Vegas had won 23 straight games after leading after two periods but the Wild chipped away at the lead with a third-period power-play goal from Kirill Kaprizov.
