Jason Pominville — who missed the last two games of the season with a head injury — skated with the Wild this morning, the Star Tribune reports.
Coach Mike Yeo told reporters Pominville “looked good” in practice, but stopped short of saying if he’ll definitely be in the lineup in tomorrow’s playoff opener against Chicago.
“This is what it’s all about,” Yeo said. “We get to go up against the top team in the league, and we got to make sure we’re ready for that.
“What really happens at this time of year … is everything resets. They’ve won zero games, and we’ve won zero games.”

Pominville, according to NHL.com, could be the “X-Factor” in this second season, as he “possesses an energy and infectious spirit that has already rubbed off on his new teammates.”
The Wild also announced that defenseman Marco Scandella has been called up from Houston, with Stephane Veilleux sent down.
“It’s playoff hockey and I’m super excited,” Scandella said. “Everyone is excited for this.”
Scandella, 23, played in six games for the Wild earlier this year with a goal and four penalty minutes.
