The Colorado Avalanche spoiled the Wild’s five-game winning streak with a 3-2 win at the Xcel Energy Center on Sunday. Colorado is on a roll of its own with three straight wins.
This was the Avalanche’s first win against Minnesota in their five matchups this season, according to the Wild’s newsroom.

Colorado puts its three goals on the board first, finding the net once each period.
The Wild tried to rally. With just under six minutes left Chris Stewart scored his first goal for the Wild.
Thomas Vanek scored the second goal with 19.4 seconds left on the clock, but the Wild couldn’t find the net once more to tie it up.
Goalie Devan Dubnyk had 18 saves.
The Wild did manage to outshoot the Avalanche 34-21, the Star Tribune reports.
