Niklas Backstrom remains day-to-day with a strained knee and he will not dress for tonight’s Wild game in Buffalo.

Recently demoted forward Jason Zucker is going to be suspended for a check to the head on a member of the Oklahoma City Barons. Zucker delivered the blow to Linus Omark during the third period of the Iowa Wild’s game Sunday night. Zucker was given a 10-minute match penalty for the hit.
