Boston Bruins star forward Brad Marchand is a dirty dog. Not in the sense that he’s an outstanding player, which he is, but in the way that he licks people.
It’s weird, but Marchand was again caught on camera Friday night licking Ryan Callahan of the Tampa Bay Lightning during Game 4 of their second-round playoff series.
The NHL wanted Brad Marchand to stop licking other players.

“He punched me four times in the face,” said Marchand when asked why his tongue came out of his mouth again. “He just kept getting close, nothing big.”
When informed that Callahan said he considers getting licked in the face worse than if someone were to spit in his face, Marchand chuckeld and said “that’s cute.”
It’s the second time Marchand has licked an opponent in the playoffs, doing it for the first time to Leo Komarov of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
“I don’t get it, I don’t understand it, I don’t. How would you feel if I walked over to you right now and gave you one big lick? Right from the chin all the way up, there’s just no place in the game for that,” said Tampa Bay head coach Jon Cooper, via MassLive.com.
Marchand did lick the Wild with an overtime game-winning goal this past season, but he’s yet to lay down a saliva stripe any Wild players’ faces as far as we know.
