The Minnesota Wild won their fourth straight game Thursday night, beating Philadelphia 3-2 on the road.
Wild goaltender Darcy Kuemper was under fire but responded with one of the best games of his young career, stopping 37 of the 39 shots he faced.

Kuemper kept the Wild in the game early on by keeping the Flyers off the scoreboard in the first period.
Eventually, Minnesota got things under control and Nino Niederreiter got the Wild on the scoreboard first with his ninth goal of the season. He was assisted by Marco Scandella and Matt Dumba.
But Philadelphia was able to tie it up before the end of the period. Scandella gave Minnesota a 2-1 lead with his fourth goal of the season. Niederreiter and Mikael Granlund each assisted.
However, Philadelphia was able to equal the score as Claude Giroux scored on the power play to even it up at two.
The game appeared headed for overtime, but Jason Zucker slipped a wrister passed Philadelphia goalie Ray Emery to give the Wild a 3-2 lead. It was Zucker’s sixth goal of the season, but his first since Oct. 27.

Kuemper turned the Flyers away a couple of times late to secure the victory.
Niederreiter and Scandella each finished with a goal and an assist on the night to lead the way.
