Arizona Coyotes 2
Minnesota Wild 1
The Minnesota Wild fell to the Arizona Coyotes 2-1 in an overtime shootout Monday night at Xcel Energy Center.
1. Down to a shootout
The Wild dropped to 1-9 this season in games that have gone beyond regulation. Anthony Duclair beat Devan Dubnyk in a shootout, while the Wild came away empty to lock up the victory for the Coyotes.
2. Dominating start, but nothing to show for it
The Wild controlled play throughout the first two periods, but didn’t have much to show for it.
Wild-Arizona 0-0 after two. Shots are 24-6 for the Wild. Somewhere Jacques Lemaire is ecstatic with this game.

Great saves in both periods by Arizona’s rookie goaltender Louis Domingue kept the Wild off the scoreboard and frustrated Minnesota hockey fans.
