NHL All-Stars were named Tuesday and two players from the Minnesota Wild made it: goalie Devan Dubnyk and defenseman Ryan Suter.
Dubnyk leads the NHL in save percentage (.939), goals-against average (1.80) and shutouts (5), and he’s second in the league in wins. Suter has 22 points and is tied for an NHL-best plus-24 rating.
Dubnyk and Suter will join Bruce Boudreau for the All-Star weekend in Los Angeles. Boudreau is coaching because the Wild had the best first half points percentage in the Western Conference.
All-Star weekend is Jan. 27-29 at Staples Center in L.A.
This is the second year the NHL will play 3-on-3 mini games with teams made up of players from each divisions.
