The Wild made it five wins in a row Saturday with a 2-0 win over the San Jose Sharks at Xcel Energy Center, the Pioneer Press reports.
After a scoreless first period, Zach Parise scored a goal 12:10 into the second period to give the Wild a 1-0 lead and his 12th goal of the season.
Jared Spurgeon added a power-play goal early in the third period — his fourth of the season — for a 2-0 Wild lead and eventual win.
The win kept the Wild perched atop the Northwest Division with a six point lead over the Sharks.
The Wild next travel to Dallas Monday night to take on the Stars.
