The Minnesota Wild selected Luke Kunin in the first round of the NHL Draft on Friday night. Kunin is a center and plays college hockey at the University of Wisconsin.
In his first season with the Badgers, Kunin scored 18 goals which was the third most in the NCAA among college freshman.
19 goals as a 17 year old freshman in college. I don't care that he played for Wisconsin. Hell, that might make it MORE impressive.

Luke Kunin says on his TV interview he expects to play one more year at Wisconsin (apparently he never went to Sarnia?) before signing.
