The Minnesota Wild are back on the ice tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets, looking to snap a three-game winless streak.
The Wild (2-2-1) haven’t won a game since Jan. 20, a 1-0 victory over Dallas. Since then, three losses, including a 5-4 overtime loss to St. Louis Sunday.
Getting a “W” might mean a more balanced scoring attack. Five games into the season, Minnesota top line has accounted for 10 of the team’s 13 goals.
Zach Parise leads the Wild with five goals and four assists so far, with four of those goals coming in the last two contests.
Meanwhile, coach Mike Yeo said today that 19-year-old Jonas Brodin will be paired with veteran Ryan Suter on defense, in what is expected to be the future No. 1 pairing.
