The Minnesota Wild signed gritty winger Chris Stewart to a two-year contract on Friday afternoon. This is Stewart’s second stint with the Wild – he played in 28 games helping the Wild to playoffs after he was acquired at the trade deadline in 2014-15 season.
Stewart is a versatile player who can play many roles on a team, but something he is also known for is sprinting down the tunnel before warmups, which startles his teammates.

Stewart has carried the routine throughout his career but it wasn’t dubbed #StewieSprint until he spent time with the Wild.
