It looks like the Wild might mix up the lines for their must-win Game 4 in St. Louis Wednesday night.
At today’s practice, the top two lines featured Mikko Koivu with Zach Parise and Nino Niederreiter and Eric Staal with Charlie Coyle and Mikael Granlund. Line three featured Martin Hanzal, Jason Zucker and Jason Pominville.
According to Michael Russo, Game 4 could mark the first time since Nov. 25 that Koivu and Granlund haven’t played on the same line.
“Those aren’t necessarily the lines that are going to be playing tomorrow,” Boudreau said.
The fourth line was centered by rookie Joel Eriksson Ek with Ryan White and Chris Stewart on his wings. Jordan Schroeder got some fourth-line time, too.
Erik Haula did not practice today. He left Game 2 with an injury and he’s questionable for Game 4.
