Wild president of hockey operations and general manager Bill Guerin announced a slew of promotions within the organization on Wednesday.
The Wild promoted Mat Sells, Michael Murray and Chris Kelleher to assistant general managers, while Matt Hendricks has been promoted to general manager of the AHL affiliate Iowa Wild. Each have been with the organization for several seasons.
Sells has been with the Wild for the past five seasons and was most recently serving as the vice president of hockey strategy. Murray has been in St. Paul the past four seasons, previously serving as the director of hockey operations and general manager of the Iowa Wild for the last three seasons.
Kelleher, meanwhile, has been with the club for the past 17 seasons, for the past two working as the director of player personnel. Finally, Hendricks, who has been with the Wild for the last five seasons, was most recently the team’s assistant director of player development. All will see new roles this upcoming season.
