According to the Pioneer Press, Harding is a healthy scratch for Friday’s game against Winnipeg. Wild.com speculated earlier today that Niklas Backstrom would start in goal.
Harding’s quick stop on IR wasn’t related to injury, but to make changes to treatment for his Multiple Sclerosis. The Wild was outscored 13-4 in three games without Harding.
Harding leads the NHL with a 1.51 goals-against average and he’s second in the league with a .939 saves percentage.
